Change NTP polling interval

Your server is getting out of time sync. You checked and find that server ip is correct but polling interval is very long.  From here you have two options:

1 : Manual update the time sync. Just click on the manual update button and get your machine in time sync with the configured time server.


2 : change the polling interval. You can change the polling interval of time service as per your choice.
Now do following activity to change the time sync interval :
 A- open the registry entry of server by command " regedit" from command prompt.

 B- choose following options to change the polling interval:

HEY_LOCAL_MACHINE ----> SYSTEM ----> CurrentControlSet ----> services ----> W32Time
----> TimeProviders ----> NtpClient.

Now in the Ntpclient , you will find an entry of "SpecialPollInterrval" , open it and an configuration pinup will appear.

Choose Decimal from the Base section and update the Value Data. The value mentioned will be in Seconds. This will be the new fetching interval of your ntp service. After changing value just do ok and exit from registry windows.

Now you need to restart Windows Time service of your server and that's all. Just check the next polling interval of your server, it's value will be the same as per your configuration.
Yupyyy!!!!!
Now machine will not go out of time sync.

You can make it into a 32bit or 64bitYou can customize how the bootscreen, logon, and wallpaper look, along with the appliance logo as well.You can change the language too.You can even import single files that’ll be copied to the specified directory, and archives (.tar, .tar.gz, .tar.bz2, .tgz, or .zip) will be extracted into the directory specified. So you can even change the theme it comes with, with a new one before you even test it out for the first time. Files can also be uploaded from your computer or the web.

When you’re ready to create your OS, you can create it in a number of ways too i.e.

* Disk Image (hard disk, USB stick)

* Live CD/DVD (.iso)

* VMware Virtual Machine

* Xen Virtual Machine

You can also change the version as well.

Here also the file size is limited and the .iso images take a while to download .Once u have registered, it will take 2 days to activate your request.

Its a very strange very and very unsual problem which makes your day ruin.

Reason : The root cause for the ORA 03113 seems to be linked with the archivelogs of oracle. Usually the space is main reson which stops oracle service to continue with logging. When no space left, oracle will automatically stop its failover service and database and you... you don't known any thing...

Resolution : Now note that, Oracle have many services and instances depends on your configuration during installation.
Check the resources and services on oracle at first step by :
STEP 1
from oracle user
1 - srvctl status service -d SERVICE_NAME: check the status of service
2 - srvctl status database -d SERVICE_NAME: check the status of database

Now from above command check whether ur database and service is up or not. Now trying to start by following commands
1 - srvctl start service -d SERVICE_NAME
Now on starting database or service, if u saw ORA- 03113, then now its time to proceed to next step.

Now we are going to get to the exact solution for the end-of-file communication problem:
1 : Login into the problematic machine through oracle db user and export the ORACLE_SID properly:
After login perform following commands and connect on sql through sysdba as SQL> connect / as sysdba

Connected to an idle instance.
SQL> startup;
ORACLE instance started.


On the RMAN tool, delete archivelog older than a week.
# rman target /

RMAN> startup mount;
RMAN> delete force archivelog all;



Now just restart your oracle failover service and enjoy the moment,,, ,don't forget to comment and follow. :)

Its a very common thing that, windows 7 home basic
and above gives you a default administrator account.Now being an administrator you should lock or avoid any unwanted user account for security purpose.

I also faced the same problem since long time, that by mistake I activated my default administrator account and which results that any one can have access to my data.Then I put a password on it because don't get the way to remove that account.
Finally I found a proper way to deal with the problem, check it out...

To enable administrator or any account run following command from cmd as "run as administrator"
net user administrator /active:yes
You can change the administrator name with any other name to.

To disable administrator or any account run
net user administrator /active:no
You can change the administrator name with any other name to.
